The other day during my lunch break I went to Noodles & Company in Plymouth to get my free birthday meal and, while waiting for my "to go" order of Japanese Pan Noodles (delish!), I decided to shove my ever-so-bright Novus Media business card (folded a little, of course, to increase the odds!) into the fish bowl for a free meal giveaway (which I never do, but thought, heck, why not!?).
What I didn't know at the time was that it was an even better deal--a group lunch giveaway! And guess whose lucky card got drawn?! Mine! Free Lunch from a Free Lunch = Pure Awesomeness.
Anyways, after receiving the phone call notifying me that I won, I decided to take my six wonderful coworkers along to partake in this joyous lunch feast (yes, a feast!) and today was the day we decided to go!
Each item was served family style, except the soup, and each item had enough plenty for all. I'm talking heaping loads of food in extra large bowls. Here are the scrumptious items our taste buds got to party off of:
- Soda
- Rolls/Flatbread and Butter
- Potstickers
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Mediterranean Salad
- Spaghetti & Meatballs
- Penne Rosa
- Japanese Pan Noodles
- Lemon Asparagus Linguine
- Trio: Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine, Caesar Salad, Seared Chicken Breast
- Rice Krispie Treats, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Snoodle Doodle Cookies
And this was FREE people. FREE!!! Absolutely wonderfully, amazing food (and lots of it) and spectacular service. We got spoiled. Let's just say we all walked away stuffed and still had not one, not two, but six boxes of leftovers to carry home, enough to feed a whole army.
And guess what Tom and I are having for dinner tonight (and the next day and the next)...leftover NOODLES!
Shout out to David, the manager at the Noodles in Plymouth, for totally rocking my day!
The icing on top of the cake- My coworker Jaime came back from our free Noodles lunch today to be greeted w/ a voicemail from Brunswick Zone saying she just won 2 hours of free bowling for herself and 20 coworkers. Are you kidding me!?, I thought, Did I really just hear Jaime right when she said that?! Yup, I sure did. Round 2 of free fun, here we come!
{Sigh}....Today I am (still!) really lovin' life! :)

Even better, Noodles & Co. in Eden Prairie is giving us 25% of sales tomorrow 11-3pm for our Susan G. Komen fundraising. They are excellent!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome, Eryn! :) They must be big on charity because they also offered to help Jaime w/ our charity lunches at work.
